The app for independent voices

Linkedin Parody. Last month a librarian from a top university told me something surprising.

"I don't understand AI search."

He wasn't alone.

We've spent decades calling ourselves search experts.

But here's the thing nobody wants to admit:

We were experts in a world that no longer exists.

Boolean. MeSH. Filters.

Those aren't wrong.

But they're not enough.

The game has changed.

And we're still playing by the old rules.

Here's what I realized:

We got really good at evaluating the INTERFACE.

We forgot to evaluate the ENGINE.

That's not a skills gap.

That's an identity gap.

The future doesn't belong to librarians who find papers.

It belongs to librarians who understand how papers get found.

Theory without practice is empty.

Practice without theory is blind.

We need both.

The landscape shifted.

Did you?

Comment "SHIFTED" if this resonates. πŸ‘‡
