This looks like a super charged version of undermind.ai. Elicit (there's a new systematic review feature), PaperQA2.

The first two also don't have any special access beyond open access full text and title abstract for rest (Paperqa2 allows you to upload your own papers similar to Deep research) and they still do fine for most STEM subjects due to open access + preprint in my experience.

My guess is OpenAI's deep research can access the same stuff the other two can and won't be as limited as most think

I think if everybody uses this, it will have similar effect as Google Scholar? Publishers will open access to open ai crawlers to be visible??
