Why is Gen Z buying into religious formulas regarding gender roles, marriage, family, etc.? I don’t think it’s simply a lack of discernment and experience. I think it’s the same reason that my parents bought into these formulas in the 1980s. When we are afraid, formulas make us feel safe.
