Anyone who embarks upon a self-development journey goes through the lonely chapter.

The painful period where you don’t quite fit in with your old set of friends, but don’t quite fit in with your new ones.

However, at my 30th birthday party, I felt accepted—that I had “made it.” I had built a life where I belonged.

The hardest part is the uncertainty, but that’s also what makes the journey worth taking. It’s the price of becoming someone new.
