Gosh - see I read/hear that and just think ‘oh great, yet another thing for authors to do that isn’t actually writing their books’ (and I say this as someone with a pretty healthy Substack following!).. I suppose I see the logic that writing a newsletter more within the authorial comfort zone than editing a Reel (hell, tried it once never again) but the relentless push to cultivate a platform just saddens me tbh..!
