Surely what has enraptured the minds for generations, the engagement of the mind with the highest reality, in its crude form manifested as religion, has been popular for so long within the human race, not because of man’s historical unintelligence. The intelligence we might have gained within the last two thousand years is negligible, but rather this is because of the all-attractive mystical experiences from which it imparts. This is logically the only explanation and the true explanation for this phenomenon. The decline of spirituality is caused by nothing other than an insidious amalgamation of the spreading of incorrect knowledge, and the decline of virtue of which I will expound on later in further writing
