Genetic Shifts: Exposure to deep-space radiation can alter DNA. If these mutations occur in reproductive cells, they could be passed down to the next generation.
The Gravity Gap: Being born in low gravity (Moon or Mars) could permanently alter bone density and heart strength. A child born on Mars might grow up to be physically unable to survive a visit to Earth's "heavy" gravity.
A New Human Species: Over centuries, the combination of radiation-induced mutations and natural selection to extreme environments could lead to the first true "extra-terrestrials"—a branch of humanity specifically adapted for the stars.
