Great news for Te Huia. The New Zealand Transport Agency/ Waka Kotahi board has agreed to a one-year extension of the trial at a 60% funding assistance rate. The decision about it becoming a permanent service will be made as part of the next round of Long Term Plans and Regiional Land Transport Plans in 2027.
