Important update to this study: so to emphatically conspicuify the definitive implications of נְקֵבָה (nᵊqēḇâ) in its full substance, the word is almost certainly even better rendered as “perforatage,” nominalized from the root verb נָקַב (nāqaḇ) which means “perforate.”

Upon a zoomed-in peering consultation of the lexical concordance dictionaries, the ancient Semitic root meaning of נָקַב (nāqaḇ), when compared to its counterparts in Arabic, Ethiopian, Syriac, and Chaldean, would best correspond to the definition of “perforate”: literally, to bore, pierce, thrust a hole through.
