The app for independent voices

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, I will guide a hybrid day of practice devoted to grounding the heart and steadying the mind through sitting and walking meditation, chanting, and mindful relational practice. Rooted in ancient wisdom and held in community, we will explore the Four Noble Truths as a living pathway for meeting our inner experience and the world’s turmoil with equanimity, and compassion. We lean in, not turn away. This day is an invitation to turn toward what is here without bypassing and without collapsing into resignation, to meet our lives with presence, whether our attention is drawn inward, outward, or somewhere in between. This is a practice. This is a refuge.

Offered through Delaware Valley Insight, Understanding Suffering, Discovering Inner Freedom will be a hybrid gathering held in person in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia or online from anywhere in the world. It welcomes anyone drawn to explore these teachings and practices, whether completely new or long engaged in contemplative work, and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET, with a break for lunch. Participants are invited to come for the full day or for a half day.

This retreat is freely offered, and dana (the practice of generosity) is welcomed.
