So so much I could say about western imperialist feminism...I need to write an article about it, but I know people will get so defensive with allegations of slut shaming or puritanism (which, if you know me, is crazy.) But as women and marginalized gendered people, we need to take a hard look at why we see behaviors that objectify us as liberating...the more naked you are, the freer you are, the more openly sexual you are, the more powerful you are.

If we know we live in a pedophilic sex trafficking society, it needs to be interrogated why these things are felt to be liberating. Moreso than the disparity in women's educational attainment, workplace issues, women being pushed out of the workforce due to childcare costs, the insanely high mortality rate of mothers giving birth, particularly of black women.

That is not to deny that our sexuality is important, but there are many more important issues that need to be prioritized.

Let's do militant anti-capitalist feminism with a materialist framework over whatever tf we doing rn pls...
