Messing around with going LIVE tonight and using 3rd party software.
Signed up for the Riverside LIVE subscription, and tested that out with Kelsey Schaefer.
Took me a little bit to figure it out, and when we figured it wasn’t working and jumped off the call, of course, a few minutes after, I got it working.
Is it just me or does technology actively want to resist working during “live demos” or scheduled “workshops” or calls/meetings?
Still, though, now that it’s working, it’s actually pretty damn cool.
Additionally, Jeremy Thone I guess I was wrong - substack still wants to try to cut up the broadcast/uploaded “live” video from Riverside and try to integrate/connect/push downstream to YouTube/LinkedIn if you have those connected, so you wouldn’t need to necessarily simulcast from Riverside to three destinations, you could just Riverside → Substack, and it’ll go from there to YouTube & LinkedIn.
OR, you could turn that off, and control it all from Riverside. Up to you.
I told Kelsey I’d put together a recording and send it to you, her and Mike Bolton, so I’ll work on getting that over to you three.
If you find it helpful, please let me know!
