Been a while, but I did manage to get Claude channels setup and working and now have a private Discord bot running on a private Discord server in order to test out channel-driven messaging with long-running tasks.

I didn’t run it in yolo, which resulted in a lot of DMs from the agent asking for permissions. A lot. But also cool summaries of work completion in project-specific channels.
