Greta Thunberg has joined activists calling for a boycott of Israeli academic institutions, accusing universities of complicity in Israel’s genocide and apartheid against Palestinians.

Two years after the Gaza solidarity encampment “Gazaplatsen” was established at University of Gothenburg, activists say nothing has changed. They accuse the university of silencing students, suppressing Palestinian voices, and maintaining ties with Israeli academic institutions.

The activists say they will continue their campaign until the university fully divests from Israeli academic partnerships.
