Automating meeting scheduling is being hyped again (but this time it'll be different because "AI agents"). My advice: if you value your time, stay away from such tech like it's radioactive waste. Making scheduling painless is how you get "meetings that should have been emails". Scheduling friction makes it easier to be thoughtful about how you're spending your time. Not all types of friction are bad — I think the majority serve some useful purpose, albeit accidentally in some cases.
