Do you think synthetic content and AI slop will lower trust on the internet in the years ahead?

Google is pointing us to YouTube via AI overviews but a lot of the YouTube channels are now ai generated and don't follow natural rhythms of speech or insight.

This means I am not sure if I can trust such sources that just talk in circles for engagement baiting.
