Really cutting it close with this submission but it was, admittedly, a very last minute decision.

I snapped this flower on a botanical walk while the sun was setting. It caught my eye because the flower seemed to glow and it made the color so intense. There's something about back-lit botanical subjects that makes my heart happy.
