I’m excited to share a guided workshop on grief that I am co-hosting with Inara Furnari O Mara, a grief worker & death doula. It might sound morbid, but it is anything but morbid. It is extremely life-giving. The workshop takes place online on Tuesday, 9th December at 6.30 PM.
Most of us carry more grief than we realize — from family, childhood, relationships, migration, loss, and the world we’re living in. But we live in a culture that rarely makes space for it.
When we don’t metabolize grief, we fracture inside. We chase power, material goods or distract ourselves to avoid what hurts—burning ourselves out in the process. These patterns then ripple outward into the systems we build. Climate change, polarization, war & more are just symptoms of the chaos that lives in us.
Inara has over a decade of experience helping people meet grief with dignity and peace. This workshop is a gentle invitation to learn how grief lives in the body, how to work with it safely, and how processing it can open the door to clarity, resilience, and aliveness.
As the year ends, join us in letting go of what no longer serves — and beginning the next with a lighter, more grounded heart.
Inara will also be joining me for a Substack live conversation tomorrow at 12.30 PM EST. Do join in if you want to get a flavour of what the workshop will cover.
