A place where I could stay true to myself, be prepared to be different, to own my decision not to drink, to feel good about who I am, despite the social exclusion. It empowers me to continue to make decisions about who I want to be and what I want to do, regardless of peer pressure and social expectations. I feel stronger and more independent and I have set an example to my kids that there are men who choose not to drink. I’m proud of that.
