Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds made a surprise You Tube drop of their new album Mutiny After Midnight. It will not be available on streaming services. Sturgill Simpson and company clearly want it to be viewed as an album, not individual tracks, so try to listen to it as such. I have listened 1.5 times and I like it.
Some of it could have been released as Sturgill. Most of it is quite different and it seems to me he is wanting it to be heard as a band record. There are some overtly political tracks and they align with my views. Let me know what you think!
