Every one of these works. I don't want to add, "for me," but I read enough of the shit these "remarks" insult to think, believe, feel, or know I ought to—or is it "is to"? I can imagine Lichtenberg, La Rochefoucauld, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Cioran, Boulding, Frank H. Knight, Feyerabend, Hurston, Yourcenar, West, Emmet, McCarthy, Fallaci, and Arendt also getting a kick out of them.
