when i sold Unicorn Platform to John Rush we had no formal agreement. so in theory i could take the cash, say “goodbye” and create a better landing page builder. a much better one.
that’d be unethical and boring, so I did not.
the fun thing is that, in fact, my current project (paracast.io) is a new Unicorn Platform. but in the SaaS promo/ad video editing niche.
i mean, what made UP UP?
radically simple UI.
sexy templates.
customer-first mindset.
what is Paracast? the same exact thing! 😁
the video editing UX is the simplest possible. no skills needed at all.
templates are top-notch. they rly look amazing.
i’ve already built the product. from the biz perspective, i’d be better to focus on the growth now. but i can’t force myself to, because i see 999 opportunities to improve the product and my hands are itching to work on it. it means less money, but more happiness for the clients.
but what about the clients? what is the point of building if no one uses it?
i will once again rely on product-led marketing. all it takes is simply building a great product and they will come 😁
