Some really good points here—I probably shouldn’t confess this as a writer of serial fiction but, as a reader of serial fiction, I’ve got to the point with several stories where I’ve paused my reading, to wait until I could devour the whole, completed story!

In the new year I am going to offer ebook versions of each of my own stories, available to paying subscribers (including whichever story is currently being shared, so they can read the whole thing, if they so choose). I’m not sure whether this will help or work, but I think it is worth trying.
