What I find really interesting is, after that sudden rise, at some point in early January my subscription rates steadied and turned into a healthy flat line—I say healthy, because I began to lose a lot of people who had clearly signed up via Simon’s slow reads, but I was still joined by others finding my letter in a more organic fashion, balancing that loss. I’ve more or less hovered at the same number for two months now, but weirdly that makes me happy!
