Don’t hate billionaires or the tech bros. Don’t hate the people who are profiting while others are losing their jobs.

We need long-term institutional improvements to help people prepare for a better future.

I remembered this quote, so often reserved for weddings, but important in any context:

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

This was described in a slightly different way by Edwin Markham’s poem:

He drew a circle that shut me out- Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout. But love and I had the wit to win: We drew a circle and took him In!

The fight for institutional reform was never easy, but it’s important, especially when looking to make a better life for our children.
