I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the industrial revolution. How it made people 50-100x more productive physically.

And then I realized that around the same time as the industrial revolution was the enlightenment. The surplus cognitive abilities led to greater rule of law and systems that we rely on today for fairness.

Kind of exciting to think what will be the twin of today’s industrial revolution.
