I stopped by the home of the Amish family that built my workshop tables and chicken coop yesterday to buy some bread from their farm stand.
The father, Henry, was heading out in his horse and buggy.
I pulled over to wish him a merry Christmas.
He told me that they had just finished a 10 × 16 foot shed, only to have the buyer back out.
These guys have 16 children they need to feed.
They are out a LOT of money by not having this person pay up.
Before someone says “they should take 50% upfront," they DO take a down payment. But you need to understand the Amish are not like us. They are good and rely on us to be good. They see the world through a pure lens - one that we don’t understand in our modern world.
If you are in the Upstate NY region, this farm is at 145 North Road in Greenwich, NY. Help me get this shed sold for them, ahead of Christmas no less! A lot of work and materials went into this shed.
It is, of course, perfectly crafted and a quality build.
I can attach more photos and videos!
