Starting this year, I have been bestowed the privilege, honor and responsibility of succeeding Tarek Amyuni as Director of the 𝘔𝘚𝘤 𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 & 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 at SKEMA Business School in Nice-Sophia Antipolis.
I graduated from this program in 2014, and the sense of continuity is strong:
🔁 Continuity in academic leadership, following Michel Henry BOUCHET and Tarek Amyuni - both of whom were also my professors.
🔁 Continuity in my presence at SKEMA within the very same 𝘔𝘚𝘤 𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 & 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴: from student to teaching assistant, to occasional guest lecturer, to regular adjunct lecturer, and now to full-time lecturer and program director.
🔁 Continuity in the strong alumni network and committed pedagogical team.
I am grateful to Tarek for the legacy he built. He created a united community and opened countless doors for students over the years - myself included. He found three jobs for me and I commit to offering the same support to the next generation.
Like a dwarf on the shoulders of giants, I benefit from the experience and support of Michel Henry and Tarek to see further and bring new perspectives.
I bring a profile rooted in technological literacy, the ability to speak the language of machines, and a strong quantitative orientation because the goal is not only to help students secure their first role - but to ensure they are equipped to thrive in the evolving landscape of finance for (at least) the next 10 to 15 years.
This transition is about legacy, continuity and forward motion.
I would also like to thank Christophe Dispas, PhD, Raluca SANDU, Patrice Houdayer and Alice Guilhon for their trust and restate my strongest commitment toward my alma mater SKEMA, its students, its alumni community and its corporate partners. I am not planning to let you down.
Ad maiora!
