The best thing about rooting The Album Club in community is that it doesn’t depend on me.

In my absence last night, the homies joined together and created a beautiful experience in tribute to D’Angelo and his seminal album, Voodoo.

Full room and full hearts as Jessica Jackson lovingly guided the conversation. I’m sad I couldn’t be there, but I’m grateful for what we’re building.

This is truly just the beginning.
