Today is my 52nd birthday.
I was 49 when my daughter Chloe died.
I was 36 when my wife Cindy died.
A truth of the human experience is that the present inexorably becomes the past.
Holding onto the people you’ve lost can be like grasping at smoke.
It doesn’t matter how hard you squeeze, they still slip through your fingers.

1) A physical win:
• Walking, running, lifting, swimming...
2) A mental win:
• Reading, writing, creating, learning...
3) A spiritual win:
• Praying, meditating, studying, growing...
