A lot of what's sold as "holistic care" is just... more things to buy.
But chewing slower helps bloating. Cutting one food (try dairy first) is more sustainable than an elimination diet. Journaling or a support group may do more for your hormones than most supplements — because stress is a major driver of PMDs, and women with these disorders tend to be high in self-silencing.
Holistic means the whole picture. That includes the emotional stuff. And that part is usually free.
