Hey, so, to all my caring, wonderful readers who have been tagging Rep. Melanie Stansbury in my posts, and sending her my news articles and essays, I have an update.

No, she did not contact me. Despite me having tried to reach her, through connections we have in common as well as through her official communications channels, for three months.

Instead, she had a high-ranking staff member of hers call a friend of mine today, to pressure that person into silencing me on their behalf.

Read that again.

I know. I could hardly believe it myself.

I will have the whole story for you tomorrow morning. It’s even worse than the little I’ve told you here.

I am sorry this is who they are. I and many of you had really hoped they were better than this.
