Let me be very clear: Just because the Eddy Aragon email is likely unreliable evidence does NOT mean there are no bodies at or near Zorro Ranch. Y'all have to stop thinking in such simplistic binaries. If the email was not enough to be proof OF something, it is also not enough to be proof AGAINST anything. In my humble opinion, the most compelling statement I have yet come across about possible buried bodies near Zorro Ranch is the public art near the ranch, made by Robert Harkness, who died shortly after he made it. If I could give Americans one gift, it would be the ability to embrace nuance and uncertainty, while remaining curious, to reserve judgment until enough evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, presents itself. This kneejerk "good v evil," "my team, your team" shit is just that: Shit. It's how we ended up in this mess, and it sure as hell won't be how we get out of it.
