Before Zorro Ranch, there was the Philmont Ranch in New Mexico. The Boy Scouts of America received the sprawling ranch as a gift from Oklahoma oil tycoon Waite Phillips, who looked remarkably like Jeffrey Epstein. (History rhymes in ways that stun me.) The organization had to pay $850 million to more than 60,000 people who were sexually abused as children in the care of Scout leaders, many of them at the Philmont as New Mexico looked the other way.
