Did you know most literary agents and publishers won’t even look at poetry manuscripts? They say ‘poetry doesn’t sell,’ so they won’t touch it.
I find that both fascinating and sad.
Anyway. I’ll be publishing a poetry collection this year, whether or not ‘poetry sells.’
Do I care about the numbers and profit? Nope.
Do I believe they’re wrong, and hope to prove them wrong? Absolutely.
Good poetry has always touched the human heart.
I’ll be bringing you all along in this journey. It’s going to be fun.
