L O L. MiniMax unintentionally offends Koreans and Japanese.

To save money on OpenClaw I switched from opus 4.6 to minimax m2.5. Now basically it keeps mixing in simplified Chinese into both Korean and Japanese outputs. Am I alone in thinking this is the funniest sh*t ever? As an Asian American come on… it’s like buying something in Chinatown for a fraction of the price right? You buy the knock off of Louis Vuitton and it’s called Louise Vuippon. But it’s cheap! $5! Do we really have a right to complain?

But actually the Korean and Japanese sides of my family are …. less amused. Perplexed. Actually not happy.

If China AI companies are trying to start WWII again… this is a good start 😂

I’m pretty sure this experiment is dead in the water. Gotta hit the drawing board and see if any other cheap alternatives are better …
