Hi Substack, I’m Allison.

I wanted to take a second to re-introduce myself. I’ve been publishing here consistently since May 2022 and SO much has changed since then. 

The TLDR on me: I’m a Philly-based CMO, jazz drummer, and mom of two (plus my rad wheelchair dog Franklin). I've spent nearly 20 years in marketing, helping build brands like Shake Shack, Sweetgreen, BarkBox, Stella Artois, and now Ollie.

But the way we work right now isn’t working. We all know that. Burnout is the norm. Endless meetings and emails and Slack notifications keep us overstimulated 24/7. And then we have the AI of it all 😵‍💫

I’m loving connecting with people here who are also tired of the grind, want to think about work with more imagination, and are craving renewed energy and meaning in our work lives, whatever form that takes.
