It’s Sunday afternoon once again and time for a story. Hope you like my latest - Atonement Time. I’ve based this around getting the phrase Good Two Shoes into a story. And I’m back to the good old drabble, the 100 worder which was my way into flash at all, again this time.

I knew her from years back. That Goody Two Shoes act is just that, an act.

I’m no angel. What she is, I admit, is the finest con artist I ever met.

How do I know?

We served time together. Yes, jailbirds.

Don’t give her money, love. I’d hate to see a nice old lady conned.

I don’t want your money either. Get to the shops the other way. Avoid her hassle.

I changed. I met victims of the cons I did. She hasn’t.

It makes you think. I never meant to hurt people. I did. Sorry.

It’s atonement time.
