The tough bit is deciding to start again. Once you begin, the rest follows.

I see pictures of my now derelict home on the web. It will be bulldozed. They’ll put flats there. It’s what they do here but the hospital will be glad of the additional staff accommodation.

I was told when I left my old world, if they ever found me using my magical skills on humans, they’d erase me.

I didn’t ruin that house. They did.

Somewhere up there, they should be gnashing their teeth at the thought of the one fairy godmother who did get away.
