I’ve just read this and really like it. I like the care you’re taking in treating consciousness as a structural condition rather than a thing or an explanation — it feels like a genuinely useful way of keeping our language honest without trying to prematurely solve anything.
For me it works well as a kind of placeholder that keeps phenomenology and lived-experience approaches honest and grounded, while still leaving the hard questions open.
