This is a beautifully written story of suffering and relief from Ted Gioia. After years of trying to diagnose and manage his bizarre yet severe facial pain, he found a specialist who knew the cause and was able to fix it. I won’t ruin the twists and turns, but it has a happy ending and is a great reminder that we don’t have to endure misery alone or in silence.
