Howie Rose announcing his retirement has hit hard. Guess I'm going to be listening to the radio a lot this year… I’m happy for him enjoying some much-deserved time off, but I have so many fond memories of listening to him on the radio. In high school I would listen to Opening Day on my walkman and hide my headphones with a hoodie. Hell, my friend was the officiant at my wedding and ended the ceremony by saying "put it in the books!" Truly one of the best ever.
