I have a super secret not-so-secret hope for the HART Studio.

I want this space to be a stepping stone that supports women to create products and services that benefit their communities, society, and friends and families, in addition to themselves.

So much of the AI push is around efficiency and productivity, either for a company or individuals themselves.

Women, however, tend to create businesses and spaces that make other people’s lives better. (Added a link in the comments if you’re interested in examples.)

I want to welcome Badass Women in AI to the HART Studio as a Founding Member! Lacy is a force champion for women in AI. In her work, she spotlights women quietly shaping the future of AI. I am so grateful for her generous support for the community.

I also have to shoutout Mariam Vossough. She’s the person I joyfully greeted at the end of the video. If you care about gender bias in AI, Mariam is a must-follow.

Mariam is a stand-out for how she paints vivid pictures in words that reimagine AI dynamics in the everyday situations we experience.
