The type codes are further misleading!! Most people think an INFJ and an INFP are sister-types.

The truth is, the INFJ and the INFP are quite antagonistic. They use the same functions in different attitudes, which effectively creates an incredible amount of dissonance.

INFJ: Introverted intuition, extraverted feeling, introverted thinking, extraverted sensation

INFP: Introverted feeling, extraverted intuition, introverted sensation, extraverted thinking

When you get these two types together, you’re having to reconcile that each one utilizes the same core function (creating an expectation of sameness, coherence) yet in practice, they usually feel fundamentally different and incompatible.
