Waiting until the midterms to take action is like bleeding out from a gunshot wound and refusing, for months, any medical care to treat the wound until the surgeon comes to take out the bullet.

Meanwhile, you keep losing blood and the wound gets infected. The longer you wait to act, the less the surgeon can actually do to help you.

When the surgeon finally comes, there’s certainly more permanent damage, the wound might even be beyond repair, or you might die waiting.

This is the state of the United states public.

This is how sick we are, as a collective people. Not intrinsically sick, but sick from decades of coordinated propaganda and lies

• convincing us we are objects, measured by our bank accounts, what we own, how we look

• inverting reality so that we simultaneously believe we are not connected with one other, downplaying the power of the collective, while simultaneously convincing us we are almighty powerful as individuals that can meditate our way into abundance

• perpetuating the insane delusion that infinite growth on a finite planet mathematically makes sense.

We didn’t cause it but the only way to stop it is to wake up and coordinate mass action that puts sand in the gears.

Our biggest point of leverage is mass migration out of big tech for so many reasons.

By withdrawing our attention, and hence data from online platforms we: reclaim our mental health, our privacy and our collective power while weakening the monopolies that feed on our data.

This is not about going completely offline. It’s a strategic hit against the biggest offenders.
