Over the last 9 years, Run for Something has built the largest candidate pipeline in politics and helped elect 1675 millennials & gen Z to state & local offices across 49 states.

With a model that's tight on values but flexible on policy, our big tent includes everyone from DSA folks to former Republicans running & winning in deep red areas. Along with values alignment, we look for leaders rooted in community with positive visions & a strong reason for running.

In 2026 so far, we have 411 endorsed candidates across 45 states. 54% are running for state leg, 34% for municipal office, 9% for education offices & 3% for legal roles. 57% of our 2026 candidates self-identify as low-income or working class.

Anyway. As we hit nearly the halfway point of the year, I'm just reflecting on what we've built and feeling pretty proud.
