Happy Saturday warriors! Last day in Austin, it's been a fun whirlwind of activities packed into a short trip. Book signing this morning, then heading back home to California. I've met so many incredible people and had such a genuinely great experience here. At the BPN Backyard Ultra yesterday, it was incredibly humbling to meet people who've read the book and shared how it resonated with them. Hearing their stories, connecting in person rather than through screens, that was such a rewarding experience. I might have to dip my toe into that backyard ultra format next year. Maybe. The format is brutal and fascinating. Now the focus shifts back to Cocodona 250 waiting for me in the distance. The giant on the horizon ready to truly test everything I think I know about suffering and endurance. Another multi-day journey through the desert coming soon. Another opportunity to discover what this body can do when pushed to new limits. Time to head home and start preparing for the next challenge. Forward motion always. LFG
