This morning on my way into work, I started to the Girls Gone Bible episode about the cost of discipleship. It’s not lost on me that I pulled into the office and the line I was left with was “you’re praying for miracles when you should be praying for discipline” and that really hit home.

I like to reframe challenges as opportunities, and I have been blessed with a lot of opportunities lately - a new project has had me a tad overwhelmed and I have been lost on where to start. I’ve been hoping for an “aha!” moment, but that never comes without diving in. Another area of opportunity has been in moving my body - some days I am TIRED but am I so tired that I can’t walk on a treadmill for 20 minutes on my lunch break? The answer is no.

Praying for discipline to me means showing up and doing the work, even if I’m doing it messy.
