Make money doing the work you believe in

This is a great essay all the way around, perhaps especially the parts about the dark illiterate future that many homeschoolers usher in by nature of failing to protect their children from the current grotesque norms concerning internet usage.

I love Keturah’s work and will be reading this one again.

And for what it’s worth, I’m glad I’ve homeschooled my children, for the most part, but I’m sad to say that there are big gaps in their education even though they’re advanced in others. My ideal scenario would be homeschooling ‘til age 9-10ish when the child is ready for more socialization and a firmer academic hand, as long as there’s a solid school option nearby. (I think; I haven’t yet gone that route.)
