I'm taking a stand-up comedy class.

I attempted to make a joke about my big butt, comparing it to having a prominent mole or nose and feeling the need to figure out ways to downplay it because it so easily grabs attention.

Immediately my two classmates, who are both dudes, began to shout out whether my butt was actually "that big" and got into a very animated discussion about it as I stood on stage watching them and thinking, wow, fears realized AND expectations met.

So this is what it's like to live the dream!
